I’m very happy to announce that today we’re launching a public beta of our RavenDB cloud hosting service.

Sign up now and you can create up to 5 databases for free. During the beta, we’re allowing up to 100MB for each database. If you happen to need more, just let us know.

For now, we're hosting all the databases in Amazon's European data centre. Which means it satisfies any legal requirements you may have not to transfer data outside the EU. For those of you outside the EU, we will be adding support for other regions and platforms shortly.

Remember we're still in beta. If you want to host production data you're more than welcome, just be aware of the risks. Also it'd be great if you could let us know at support@cloudbird.net so that we can keep an extra close eye on things for you.

We’re also launching our new website today along with a new home for our blog. Keep an eye on both for updates.
